Dual Language Immersion

We are in the second year of transitioning from a 50/50 dual language program to a 90/10. Last year, Kindergarten transitioned to 90% Spanish instruction, 10% English instruction, and First grade transitioned to 80% Spanish, 20% English. This year, Second grade has transitioned to having 70% of the day taught in Spanish, 30% of the day taught in English. In the 2023-24 school year, Third grade will become 60/40, and the change to 90/10 will be complete. Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth grades will continue to be taught 50% in Spanish, 50% in English.
